E-Cards - Care2.com

Care2.com is a really neat website with over 5 million members of their online community. They not only provide e-cards, but a host of other activities and features, such as a shopping portal, a venue in which members can start their own or sign various petitions, a portal for donations and shopping, tips on health and wellness, interest groups, and many other things.

Care2 was established in 1998, with the focus of putting people who want to make a difference in the world together with organizations that strive to make that happen. The organizations this site works with are ones that deal with human rights, spirituality, health, the environment, women's rights, and many others.

But since this review is about e-cards, let's focus on that area of the site. First to mention, Care2 does require signing up for a membership in order to send e-cards, however, it is free to join. There are 15 main categories:

Birthday Cards, Love, Celebrations & Events, Holidays, Religion E-Cards, Pets, Nonprofit Organizations, Wildlife, Expressions, Friendship E-Cards, World, Art, Sports, For Kids, and Fun & Games. The main categories also have many sub-categories - encompassing over 25,000 e-cards in total.

The e-card page features their card of the day, a link to their new e-cards, and other items such as photo e-cards (where the user can insert a picture into the card) and a helpful holiday calendar. There is a list of special days for the month, and a link to screensavers made by members of the site.

With all of the different, meaningful features that Care2.com offers, it's no wonder they have so many members in their online community. Why not join this site and see what it can offer you, while you offer something to the world?
