E-cards Online - DaySpring.com

If you're looking for e-cards to send to your loved ones online, it can sometimes be difficult to choose from the tens of millions of results that come up when searching for e-cards.

DaySpring.com is a website that specializes in greeting cards and other gift items that are religious in nature. In addition to their Christian gift products, they also provide a greeting card boxed-set line and religious movies.

DaySpring Cards was established as a brick and mortar business in 1971 in California by 4 men who wanted to use the printed word to spread the message about Jesus Christ. That winter was the first publishing of greeting cards, and due to the response they received from that one religious card, they knew that the development of Christian greeting cards was long overdue.

In 1987, DaySpring went mainstream when it partnered up with David C. Cook Publishing Company and was purchased by Hallmark Cards in 1999. The integration of this company with others indicates the popularity and potential of their products with consumers.

But it seems that the primary focus of the site is devoted to e-cards. The categories of cards available are as follows:

Ministry Appreciation Month, Christian Music Collection, The Four Seasons, Birthday, Thinking of You, Just for Fun, Thanks, Marriage, Workplace, Miss You, Kids, Ministry, Clergy Appreciation, Special Collections, Veterans Day, Boss's Day, Recent Additions, Encouragement, Friendship, Prayer, Christian Occasions, Congratulations, Baby, Love & Romance, Get Well, Sympathy, Sorry, Graudation, and Thanksgiving.

It appears that a good many of the cards are Flash based. This site offers the capability for the sender to choose a future date on which to send their card of choice, which is handy for making sure that you don't forget to send the card on the day it needs to be sent.

On the whole, DaySpring seems to be a great place for internet users to go to find just the right e-cards for their religiously minded friends and family members, both on religious holidays and other memorable occasions.
