E-Cards - BlueMountain.com

I remember using BlueMountain quite a bit several years ago and being impressed with the quality of their cards. The site was new back then, and it seems that time has been good to BlueMountain.

This site has partnered with American Greetings and is no longer free for internet users, but the quality of their e-cards and their services remains one of the best on the internet.

While the e-cards are no longer free to send, they do offer 38 free screensavers, including holiday themes and 72 wallpapers. Another neat feature is their free interactive desktop calendar, which is free and is downloadable as a wallpaper pack. All of the free downloads are of the same high quality as their e-cards.

GreenMountain has a comprehensive categorization system for their e-cards - 25 main categories so far:

Anniversary, Awareness & Activism, Baby, Birthday, Collections, Congratulations, Disney, Encourage & Support, Family, Friendship, Holidays, International, Invitations & Announcements, Just Because, Kids, Love, Nickelodeon, On This Date, Pets, Religion, Stay in Touch, Talking e-cards, Thank You, Wedding & Engagement, and Workplace.

There are a whopping total of 312 subcategories spanning across all of the main categories, so needless to say, there are loads of e-cards at GreenMountain.

Similarly to American Greetings, GreenMountain offers 3 different memberships. The e-card membership is specifically for sending e-cards. The Create & Print membership allows members to create and personalize greeting cards, invitations, envelopes, and many other items. GreenMountain also offers a membership option that combines the Create & Print and E-card memberships to give the user a full range of activities. Unfortunately, the prices for the memberships are not made public without initiating the signup process.

While it's sad that this site offers free e-cards, it still remains an extremely popular site and has not compromised its quality of service over the years. People who send lots of e-cards would do well to check out BlueMountain.com and see if it's for them.
